The KOA board of directors is looking forward to another year in advancing and protecting our profession; a critical component is ensuring that our profession continues strong leadership for the years to come.  We are looking for additional enthusiastic candidates to take part in our KOA leadership program for 2025!  This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your leadership skills and make a meaningful impact in our profession.  It is an extremely manageable time requirement with just a few meetings to attend over the year timeframe.

2025 Leadership KOA Events

• 2025 KOA Legislative Event & Board of Directors Meeting- January 20th-21st (Topeka KS)
  • Take Part in the Board of Directors meeting on January 20th as they discuss advocacy efforts prior to the 2025 Day at the Capitol Event.
• Convention & Seminar 2025- May 1st-3rd (Olathe, KS)
  • Celebrate 125 years of the Kansas Optometric Association.
• Leadership Series & KOA Board of Directors' Summer Meeting- July 11th-12th (Topeka, KS)
  • The LKOA class will attend the State Board meeting in the morning then eat lunch with examinees. Friday afternoon there will be guest speakers on various leadership topics. There will be a social on Friday evening and the Board Meeting will be on Saturday.
