KOA Day of Giving 2024

As a vital part of the health care system, Kansas optometrists make a difference in the lives of their patients and their communities.  We invite you to continue this legacy through a contribution to either or both of Kansas Optometry's charities, the Kansas Optometric Foundation and the See To Learn Foundation.

The Kansas Optometric Foundation has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships for students who plan to return to Kansas following graduation.  The foundation is working to increase both the quantity and the size of the scholarships available to students planning to return to the state to practice.

The See To Learn Foundation helps bridge the gap for children of all ages who aren't covered by insurance and whose families are not able to pay for examinations, eyewear and other treatments. The Foundation leverages existing community resources and foundation grants to make sure that no child in Kansas goes without care due to lack of insurance or financial resources.

Gifts to either foundation may qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions.  Donations can be accepted anytime, and planned giving and other options are available.
