The Distinguished Service Award is to be awarded for service to Kansas Optometry and the KOA for a single year. This allows the KOA President the opportunity to acknowledge individuals for their contributions and betterment of optometry in Kansas under his/her term as president. Any KOA member or KFVA member whose accomplishments over the year excel in improving optometry in Kansas is elligible. This award is presented at the annual convention by the outgoing president.
