As a member benefit, the KOA contracts for services with a third party consultant to provide assistance to members with billing and coding questions.  Sara Kincaid is currently serving as the third party consultant.  Sara brings a wealth of experience and is a great resource for practices with billing and coding issues.  She will also provide training at the KOA educational conferences for new and experienced billers.

The KOA Third Party Care Committee also maintains contacts with representatives of the major third party payers and can help address problems and seek clarification in their policies and procedures.
